How we hire

Our hiring process is designed to find the best fit for both our team and our candidates. It varies based on the role and candidate, but our standard process looks like this:

Step 1

Resume Submission

Submit your resume via our website. We carefully review each application to identify potential matches for our roles.

Step 2

Exploratory Chat

You’ll have an initial conversation with one of our team members to discuss your career interests, relevant experience, and learn more about Liminal and our sustainable approach.

Step 3

Skills Assessment

We don’t use take-home assignments because they require a lot of time and don’t accurately reflect real challenges. Instead, we rely on meaningful and deep conversations. Be prepared for open and sincere discussions during this step.

We include this step to minimise bias and make well-informed hiring decisions. These conversations allow us to see how candidates think and approach problems, giving them a better idea of what their work at Liminal might entail and how we operate.

Step 4

Team Screen

You’ll have a conversation with the Hiring Manager or a member of your potential team to further explore your fit for the role and team dynamics.

Step 5

Interview Panel

• For technical roles, you’ll undergo one or two one-hour technical interviews.

• For operations or policy roles, you’ll have one or two one-hour interviews.

Step 6

Final Checks

We’ll ask for references and have you chat with our leadership team to finalise our assessment.

Our offer
