The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning and Execution: Assist in developing and executing test plans and test cases under the guidance of senior team members.
- Defect Reporting: Identify and document software bugs and issues, ensuring they are accurately recorded in our issue-tracking system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers and other team members to understand product requirements and assist in ensuring they are met.
- Learning and Development: Take part in ongoing training to develop your testing skills, learn about various testing tools and methodologies, and apply them to real-world projects.
- Regression Testing: Help perform regression testing to confirm that bug fixes and updates do not introduce new issues.
- Documentation: Assist in maintaining clear and concise documentation of test results, defect reports, and any testing processes.
Requirements
- Education: A degree or coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to Learn: Enthusiasm for learning new skills and growing in the field of software testing.
- Communication: Good communication skills to work effectively within a team and document your findings.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- [Optional] Technical Skills: Any experience with coding, scripting, or using testing tools is a bonus, but not required.
- [Optional] Tools: Any experience working with Jira / Confluence is a bonus, but not required.
